GreenZone English for Business Course delegates with their tutor
Over the last 6 years we have provided English for Business Training in 1-2-1 classes and small groups to staff. Training has covered a wide range of job roles including Operations, Payroll, Finance and the Help Desk Team. Classes are held on a weekly basis.
GreenZone Cleaning & Support Services Ltd (GZCSS) is a commercial cleaning company like no other. In fact, they are the UK’s only one-stop solution for truly environmentally friendly commercial and residential cleaning. Moreover, GZCSS is an organisation with people at its heart. They provide their staff with “the training required to do their job well and safely and to help their staff with their personal and career development”.
English training for their non-English staff has proved very successful. This is evident in our on-going teaching relationship with them…thanks to our amazing tutor, Liz!
How does it work?
Arranging the courses is straightforward. We are notified of any new starters. Then we assess their level and needs through a face-to-face assessment with the tutor. They then join an English for Business group or will be taught on a 1-2-1 basis.
Learners have many different needs such as writing emails and understanding the language used in meetings. As well as speaking on the telephone, business vocabulary, word order, grammar and cultural awareness. Therefore, we design the lesson to suit the group or individual. Liz (our English tutor at GZCSS) has the flexibility to design and amend the lessons as the course continues.
