Cultural Awareness Training
According to Anne Loehr, “The benefits of being culturally aware are innumerable, and with the global economy, intercultural teams are becoming the norm. At a very basic level, culturally appropriate communication and nonverbal business etiquette are essential to success in running international teams or engaging in negotiations with foreign firms”. Cultural awareness training helps you to build relationships, communicate and correspond effectively with different cultural partners.
Who should undertake Cultural Awareness training?
If you have regular international business meetings, manage an international team or deal regularly with international clients, it is important to be aware of the cultural differences you may experience.
Relocating abroad? – Cultural awareness training helps employees and their families adjust successfully to a new region. It helps them understand the local culture and deal with the practical issues of everyday life. Read more about Language Training for Relocation here.
