Weekly Portuguese Language Training |
The easy way for busy people to learn Portuguese is a little and often. We aim to make it fun too and give you a sense of achievement after a very short time. As your knowledge of the Portuguese language develops, so will your confidence, giving you a firm foundation for those important conversations with Portuguese colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Design of your Portuguese course
Before you begin your Portuguese training, we will establish your needs and assess your current Portuguese skills. We will then design a Portuguese language training course which is tailormade for you and ensure that the training is specific to your industry sector and job function, incorporating your work terminology into the course.
Location of your Portuguese course
CLT provides a skilled Portuguese tutor with business experience directly to your place of work so that you don’t waste time travelling to your Portuguese course. Typically a language is learned in a two hour session each week over a period of up to 40 weeks, depending on your level of prior knowledge and the standard you wish to achieve.
Time of your Portuguese course
Portuguese language training can be on a one-to-one basis or for groups of up to 15 people from your organisation and will always be arranged at a time to suit you and your work schedule. If you are having one-to-one Portuguese training you have the added benefit of being able to re-arrange the day and time of your Portuguese training session with your tutor each week.

Intensive Portuguese Language Training |
From time to time you may be given limited notice to attend an overseas trade fair or an important business meeting abroad with Portuguese speaking customers or colleagues. Now you need to get to grips with Portuguese quickly and an intensive Portuguese course is the ideal solution.
Design of your Portuguese course
Our one-week or two-week intensive Portuguese courses can be arranged at short notice and are designed just for you. As soon as we have established your needs, we design a course to meet your specific requirements. We take into account your current knowledge, the amount of time you have to devote to the Portuguese language and the terminology you are looking for eg ‘survival skills’ for beginners or more specialised terminology (eg financial, business, technical) for advanced learners.
Location of your Portuguese course
Your intensive Portuguese training can be carried out at your place of work or at your home or at an alternative venue of your choice. You may prefer us to organise your Portuguese course in the Peak District of Derbyshire for a perfectly relaxed learning environment.
Time of your Portuguese course
Intensive Portuguese training is either on a one-to-one basis or can be arranged for a small group of colleagues from the same organisation. Our usual times of training are 9.30 am to 4.00 pm, but this can be altered to suit your work schedule. Some delegates prefer a course of mornings only. The 5 day intensive Portuguese course can also be split between two weeks if more convenient.
