Design of your English course
Before we organise your individual English training, we will telephone you to find out what your objectives are and to assess your current level of English. We will then design a course for you and ensure that the training is specific to your industry sector and to your job function.
The emphasis of your English training can be on speaking, listening, reading, writing – or a mixture of all these skills. Our well-qualified, experienced native English tutors will help you to improve your English so that you feel confident in making presentations, using the telephone, speaking in meetings or discussing business and technical issues. Alternatively you may wish to have a general English course and simply improve your everyday communication skills.
Location of your English course
During your English course you can choose to stay in a variety of excellent hotels or self-catering apartments in the Peak District, which CLT are happy to arrange for you. (Click here for more information on accommodation)
Commercial Language Training are based in the Peak District of Derbyshire in the heart of England. We are less than 1.5 hours’ drive from East Midlands, Birmingham and Manchester airports and offer a free pick-up and return service before and after your English training course.
Your English course includes an optional social programme in the evenings and at the weekend. As part of the social programme you will have the opportunity to tour the local region and visit attractions such as Chatsworth House, The Heights of Abraham, Haddon Hall, the Buxton Opera House, The Goyt Valley www.buxtononline.net, Castleton and many more. You also have the opportunity to improve your general conversation skills in the evenings when you join us for a drink in the local pub or for a meal in one of our super local restaurants.
Time of your English course
You can choose to study for full days, from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm, or for mornings only if you wish to combine your studies with visits to clients in the UK. You can also combine your English course with playing or learning to play golf (Click here for more information on Golf-English courses).
